Empowering individuals to reach beyond the limits towards a brighter future.

Enhancing the well-being of local residents

Our Vision

Our Mission is to help our residents overcome the barriers to health and economic stability so as to foster a stronger, happier and healthier community.

We empower and enhance the well-being of local residents by providing access to healthy resources that create a meaningful and lasting impact.

Helping Families

We have addressed food insecurity through regular food distribution, provided free infant car seats and educational resources for families, all while focusing on social determinants of health that disproportionately affect underserved communities.

We have ongoing partnerships with the Irvington Health Department, local day care providers, and the Irvington Board of Education.

Helping the Community through Mental Health Education

Transcend Outreach Center is excited to propose a series of mental health symposiums designed to address the health within our community. The symposiums will provide valuable resources and support, focusing on improving mental health outcomes by addressing the root causes that impact one’s overall well-being.

We provide accessible mental health education, economic empowerment through financial literacy, employment pathway resources and additional support services.

Affordable Housing

The need for affordable housing has emerged as a critical issue for Transcend’s constituents regionally. To that end, Transcend is in the process of becoming certified as a Community Housing Development Organization in the municipalities of Irvington, Newark and Union to acquire properties and develop them as affordable housing to address the issue in a direct an impactful way.
